the general assembly is a an assembly of hte world's 193 countries as of march 8,2022 when I published this article
the Secruity Council maintains peace and security
the trusteeship council used to manage colonial pocessions and was deactivated in 1994 with the independence of the last states
the International Court of Justice settles legal disputes between states
the Economic and Social Council maintains economic and social issues
under teh Economic and Social Council there are 15 specializaed agencies
they are
